I have been practicing pottery for about 9 years now, and have spent a lot of the time experimenting with different techniques, clay bodies, glazing and firing combos over the years. Currently I have landed on a speckled stoneware as my favorite to work with because of its workability and durability. You will find most of my pieces are made with it. Everything I make is finished with food safe glazes.

I offer one-on-one pottery lessons from my home studio in Iron Mountain, Mi. Whether you have never tried pottery before, or maybe took a class years ago but want to get back into it, we can work at your own pace and learn from hands on guided practice. I have found great peace in the process of pottery over the years and would love to pass it on to you.
